The location near both the river/Vieux Montreal and the metro station at Berri/UQAM was very convenient. We are budget travelers, so like the inclusion of a good (cold) breakfast, but were glad to see the major grocery store and other amenities very close by on St. Catherine. The room has a small refrigerator. Maison Brunet was quiet, spotlessly clean. The shower delivered on hot water. We were there on a weekend with few other guests, so did not see the staff much either, though when we did interact, it was pleasant an professional.
The mattress in room 11 was a little saggy! Everything else was great.

Great sized room, comfortable beds and very close to all of the action we wanted.
The vanity and bathroom sink wasn't located inside the bathroom, which was a little funny. Also, the "breakfast" portion of this place is just a help-yourself pantry with toast, fruit, pastries and yogurt. It's not like other B&Bs i've been to where there are eggs, bacon, etc ... It worked for us though, as we're not big breakfast folk.

We had great time at the hotel! The staff was really helpful and was able to accommodate all of our needs. We took our small puppy and the room closest to the hotel entrance that we got was very convenient. As it was on the ground floor, the backyard was very close. The room was clean and very well maintained. It is definitely worth to stay there for the money. We will come back to Maison Brunet for sure!! ;-)

It was very clean and comfortable . The room was very charming and large enough for the four of us to relax in comfort. The location and breakfast provided were also great. The only issue, if any is the bathroom being a little small, otherwise very very nice. I would definately stay again.

It is quaint, very clean, nice room, great breakfast
it was very hot when we traveled and there was a tini 4" duct to the room with AC.....but it did not do enough to cool the room down. Could have used a window fan to sleep better. The onstreet parking worked out ok; but kind of a pain having to move your car around severral times due to the restricted hours for street cleaning.

Very charming place on a quiet street, but very close to old Montreal and yet easy walk to Chinatown and St Catherine St shopping. The enclosed back garden was great to hang out in and store our bicycles for overnight.
It didn't bother us, but there is no lift to get to upper floors, just stairs.

Location, close to metro, buses, old port, restaurants, pharmacy, groceries, easy to find/get to, staff was friendly, nice big comfy beds/pillows, quiet, clean, nice breakfast included fruit, juice, coffee o tea, bread, all sorts of spreads. They have information about the city including metro maps & other attractions. Style of the hotel was charming, with a nice greenery. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family & I would love to go back for longer. (We stayed 4 nights/5 days)
